MSAE Members!Join us for a virtual Coffee and Conversations on February 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. for a group discussion on“Members to Donors Engaging in the Digital World” with Katie Lord, Vice President of Nonprofit Development of PROOFWhat happens when you can’t shake hands with your donors? In the nonprofit sector, COVID-19 has vastly impacted our marketing and development departments. In this course, we will discuss new strategies for donor engagement fundraising including targeted donor communications, year-end fundraising, virtual event fundraising and stewardship. You will leave this session with a better understanding of the current landscape and how your organization can create and maintain lasting relationships with your donors at a social distance.

Katie joins Proof is Vice President of Nonprofit Development at Proof Posistioning and brings an extensive background in nonprofit development and marketing. She has spent her entire career working in the social sector, first in fundraising and development with national nonprofit organizations and then as a nonprofit consultant working with local and national nonprofits. Katie’s strength and passion is working with nonprofit organizations to increase their fundraising and development success through strategic, donor-based long-term planning. She has specialized in solicitation of major gifts and corporate sponsorships, implementation of successful capital campaigns, Board recruitment, and donor-centric marketing. She has worked closely with major donors, corporations, small businesses, civic organizations, associations and volunteer groups throughout her career. Early in her career, Katie followed her passion to dive deeper into the nonprofit sector. Katie worked in fundraising and development for three national organizations, the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Make-A-Wish Missouri. Katie joins our team after four years with Byrne Pelofsky + Associates (formerly Jeffrey Byrne + Associates), a top nonprofit consulting firm where she served as Vice President. During her tenure, Katie worked with clients to raise millions of dollars towards their capital goals through expanding donor relationships and implementing best practices with her client partners.
